Calendar of Events 2013

 

January  & February– 2 buck Tuesdays - All zoo visitors are admitted for only $2.00 on each Tuesday in January and February.  

April  27th - Earth Day - Celebrate our planet with a variety of informative and interactive earth themed activities.  

May 5th – Cinco de Mayo - Learn all about our zoo residents that call Mexico home!

May 18th  – Zoolute to Dyess - The Zoo says thanks to our service women and men from Dyess Air Force Base with a celebration that includes free zoo admission, food and entertainment.

June 1st – Teddy Bear Day - A great day to learn all about bears and even meet Smoky Bear.  Free admission for children 12 years of age and under when they bring their Teddy bear to the zoo.  

Wild About Summer Concert Series 

Concert #1 - June 20, 2013 - Community Band & Corvette display
Concert #2 - July 18, 2013 - ACU Faculty Jazz Quartet & classic cars display
Concert #3 - August 15, 2013 - Muddy Creek & antique truck display

October  - Boo at the ZOO - Enjoy the trick or treat stations, costume contests and all the fun during the zoo's annual Halloween celebration.

December - Breakfast with Santa - Enjoy breakfast at the zoo, meet an animal or two and get a special picture with Santa himself!

 

 On The Wild Side

Airs Tuesdays at 12:30 pm, Fridays at 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 7:00 p.m. on TV Channel 7
