Boo at the Zoo
Ghost the line! Get tickets in advance to save time and cash.
Advance tickets are now on sale for the Abilene Zoo’s biggest event of the year: Boo at the Zoo. The popular Halloween party will take place Saturday, Oct. 28th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Businesses, churches and organizations will host treat stops throughout the zoo that day, allowing little ghosts and goblins to gather goodies throughout the grounds.
Tickets for Boo at the Zoo cost $5 for everyone three and older and are available all day at the gate.
Advance tickets cost $4.50 and can be picked up every day at the Zoo Store and at all Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union locations, as well as La Voz 93.3 radio, Extreme Exteriors and HispanicLife magazine.
We are expanding our trick-or-treat town to speed up lines for zoo guests! Trick-or-Treat Town is an exciting area where guests can play games, enjoy snacks or burn off sugar while hopping in one of the zoo’s three bounce houses. Costume contests will take place in the pavilion every 30 minutes!
To underscore the zoo’s mission to encourage conservation, trick-or-treaters are encouraged to bring their own reusable treat bags to collect candy.
Boo at the Zoo is one special event that is not free for zoo members.
Merchants or organizations interested in hosting a treat stop at Boo at the Zoo can call Development Coordinator Stephanie DeLaGarza at 325-437-4929 or email her for an information packet at email@example.com.
