Bring learning to life!
Give your students the opportunity to learn, explore and connect with wildlife beyond the classroom. Group trips offer an exciting way to turn a day at the zoo into an unforgettable learning experience.
To help us prepare for your visit and ensure we can provide the best possible experience for your group, all organizations must submit a Zoo Field Trip Request Form at least seven days in advance to receive the group rate admission.
Space is limited each day, so we encourage you to submit your request early!
Field Trip rates
- Field trip rates must be paid as a group in one transaction on arrival, accept credit card, cash, or check
- Parents and siblings not paying with the group are subject to a regular admission rate
*There is no fee for Abilene or Wylie ISD Field Trips for students or school personnel
Field Trip Add-ons
Animal Ambassadors
Add an educational experience featuring an Ambassador Animal your students can touch!
- $50 minimum
- $2.25 per student
- Students & Teachers only is preferred
- 20-30 minutes
- Time Blocks: 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 11:30 AM
- Class sizes are limited to 50 per classroom
*These rates apply to all groups including Abilene or Wylie ISD
Lunch Rental Venue
Are you planning on being at the zoo on a busy field trip day? Enjoy a 2-hour rental in our outdoor pavilion with picnic tables.
More fun?
You can add giraffe feeding, train rides, and carousel tokens to your zoo trip!
