Important Information
- Staffing your treat station is up to you. You will be provided with one 8 ft. table, a 10x10 tent, and seating for four. All activities and displays at your booth must be contained within your designated 10x10 canopy space. This helps ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- You may begin setting up each day at 8:00 AM. The event opens to the public at 9:00 and all vendors need to be fully set up and staffed no later than 8:45 AM. You are responsible for moving your own supplies and may bring your own cart/wagon if needed.
- All treat stations must be staffed from 9:00 to 5:00. You must remove all decorations and promotional items after each day.
- Each booth includes admission for up to 4 staff members per day to staff your treat station. At least one staff person must be 18 years or older. Additional staff must purchase tickets at the regular price or at the member-discounted price and enter through the main Zoo entrance.
- You may utilize the Zoo's bus parking zones for loading and unloading purposes only. After unloading, you must move your vehicle and park it in the parking lot by Gate B.
- Each booth must have a minimum of 5,000 pieces of candy per day. You may bring your own 5,000 pieces of candy for each day or the Zoo can provide you with candy for an additional charge of $500 per day. In addition to candy you may give away business-related promotional items, coupons, or literature; however, balloons and glass products are not permitted.
- You may not sell merchandise.
- You are strongly encouraged to decorate your treat station. Treat Stations are allowed to have prize wheels, games, photography, and other activities. There are no electricity options for vendor booths.
- Lunch is not provided by Abilene Zoo, however we do offer concessions on-site, and you are welcome to order food to be delivered to the zoo. We kindly ask that vendors refrain from eating at their booths to maintain a clean and professional environment. We have designated areas where you can enjoy your meals.
- Boo at the Zoo takes place rain or shine. The event will not be canceled or closed early unless a storm warning is in effect. The Zoo does not issue refunds if you are no longer able to participate after reserving your treat station.
