early learners
Ages 3 - 5
Dive into the wonders of the animal kingdom with an exciting one-hour edZOOcation class. Each class, you’ll embark on a fun-filled journey through stories, crafts, songs, and up-close animal encounters, as you explore different animals and their habitats.
Held in the Zoo Education building, each interactive session is designed to spark curiosity and foster a love for nature. Adults are required to stay and share in the adventure.

Tuesday Classes:
Class 1: Vets Aren’t Just For Pets – February 10th (9:30 am or 11:30 am)
Class 2: Underground Dwellers & Diggers – March 3rd (9:30 am or 11:30 am)
Class 3: Champions of the Wild – March 24th (9:30 am or 11:30 am)
Class 4: Wildlife Playground – April 7th (9:30 am or 11:30 am)
Wednesday Classes:
Class 1: Vets Aren’t Just For Pets – February 11th (9:30 am or 11:30 am)
Class 2: Underground Dwellers & Diggers – March 4th (9:30 am or 11:30 am)
Class 3: Champions of the Wild – March 25th (9:30 am or 11:30 am)
Class 4: Wildlife Playground – April 8th (9:30 am or 11:30 am)
Price: $125 Non-Members; $105 Members
Classes involve activities, crafts, and animal encounters. Admission to the zoo is included!
Reminder: This is NOT a drop-off class! Both adults and children will enjoy an engaging learning experience together.
Classes are limited to 15 participants (ages 3-5) and one adult per participant.*
*Additional adult participant is $15.00

Young Adventurers
Ages 6 – 9Â
Get ready for an exciting journey into the world of animals and their habitats!
Experience this two-hour edZOOcation class, packed with hands-on activities, thrilling adventures, conservation tips, and unforgettable animal encounters. Each class, you’ll dive deep into the wonders of zoology and natural biomes, while fostering a love for wildlife and the environment.
Held in the Zoo Education building, these sessions are perfect for curious minds eager to learn and explore.Â

Class 1: Extreme Makeover: Zoo Edition – February 24th (9:00 am or 1:00 pm)
Class 2: Art in Action – March 17th (9:00 am or 1:00 pm)
Class 3: Hear me Out – March 31st (9:00 am or 1:00 pm)Â
Class 4: Relationships; It’s Complicated – April 14th (9:00 am or 1:00 pm)
Price:Â $150 Non-Members; $130 Members
Classes involve games, crafts, a zoo tour, and an animal encounter. Admission to the zoo is included for the paid participant.

Junior Zoologists
Ages 10 – 13
Join us for an engaging two-hour edZOOcation class. You will delve deep into the fascinating world of animals and their ecosystems. Each class, experience hands-on activities, thrilling adventures, conservation insights, and close-up animal encounters. Perfect for inquisitive minds, each class offers a deeper understanding of zoology and natural biomes.
Held in the Zoo Education building, this is an amazing opportunity to explore, learn, and develop a passion for wildlife and conservation.
