Wild Attractions

A day at the zoo isn't complete without a ride on the Safari Express. Find the Train Depot on our zoo map and climb aboard.

So much more to do!

Plan your visit to the zoo to see animals and do so much more!

First, take the train ride! One top zoo fan said, “The train ride is great to get your directions sorted and get a quick glance into the layout.” Then you can climb aboard the Wild Life Carousel to go for a wild spin! You can also dig deep at the Kilimanjaro Mining Sluice!

There is even more fun to be had at Tittle Lake, you can feed the fish and the ducks in Nelson Lake!

The train ride is great to get your directions sorted and get a quick glance into the layout.

Remember to take a souvenir home that you can buy in our Gift Shop. Sometimes the weather does not cooperate. Please remember, all experiences are weather-dependent. Swan boats and mining season is March through October. Come to the Abilene Zoo and make lasting memories during your zoo visit!
