Abilene Zoo Summer Camp operates under a Single Skill Exemption from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

If you must reschedule your Camp session, please be aware there is a $25 rescheduling fee per camper per change if made within two weeks of your camp date, and space is limited, so there may not be another space available for the following session. If you must cancel your camp session, please call (325) 676-6487. A refund, minus $75, will be given to cancellations made two weeks before camp, 80% for those made four weeks prior, and 100% for those made eight weeks in advance. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the camp session begins or requests for refunds for missed programs will not be refunded. Substitutions will not be allowed for any camp session.

Summer Camp Stroller Club

Stroller Club (2yrs - 4yrs)

We are excited to announce that Stroller Club is back at Abilene Zoo! If you have a child between the ages of 2-4 and are looking for a fun way to bring learning to life for your little one, we have just what you are looking for. Enjoy a parent-and-tot 20 minute hands-on learning experience then explore the Zoo at your leisure. Stroller club will run on Tuesday and Thursday each week from 9:30am – 9:50am.

Price per week: $25 for members; $30 for non-members

After the lesson enjoy the zoo at your leisure!

This is NOT a drop-off camp. Therefore, adults will be required to attend alongside the camper. Camper must be stated age by June 1st.

Abilene Zoo Stroller Club operates under a Single Skill Exemption from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.

Preschool (4yrs - 5yrs)

  • Camper must be this age by June 1st.
  • Price per week: $100 for members; $125 for non-members
  • Time: 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • This is a drop-off camp. Therefore, adults will not be able to attend alongside the camper.

  • June 24th – 28th: Passport to the World
  • July 8th – 12th: Amazing Adaptations

Junior Zoo Crew:

Calling all future zookeepers! Dive into the exciting world of zookeeping, where junior animal enthusiasts will have the chance to feed, care for, and learn about Abilene Zoo’s animal residents alongside experienced zookeepers.

Party Animal:

This is how we ZOO it! This lively camp focuses on the fun side of the zoo, with games, crafts, and activities all centered around the wild world of party animals.
